14 Days to go....

Will we make it????
Not sure, there is still sooooooo much to be done.
I was standing on the side of the road waiting for someone the other day, praying...okay, crying out to God...."Lord I feel soooo overwhelmed, I need help...what can I do???" and you wouldn't believe it but the next thing that came up the road was a large white truck with Bold Red letters emblazened across the top, basically shouting at me...."COPE"! Ha ha....God does like us to laugh....it would only have been topped by "Suck It Up Princess!"
We have one week left in this house we have called home for nearly 9 years! And it's not like when you are moving cos you ordinarily would just throw stuff into boxes and move it all!!! But we have piles of stuff (paper related) that I swear is breeding! Having turfed it all out of cupboards so we could sell the furniture has created quite a headache for me. Ahhh it's all good. I have the bond clean to look forward to once we clear the boxes...
And yet, there is such a sense of reality now that we have the camper trailer YAY!!!!!
Annnnd the car.....YAY!!!!!
Annnnnndd little bitty space to fill with alllll our stuff! (scratching my head)
But it's all good.... The children are doing the countdown with glee....Daniel and I are doing the countdown with mixed emotions....a combination of fear and excitement! It's just a matter of doing one thing at a time at the moment. I have developed a saying for myself, that the family seem to have adopted and run with...
"It Is What It Is!"
Profound I know!!!!.... But it helps for those times you think ..."I should have made that/done that/taken photos of that/rung that person/sent that belated card/read squigglemum's BLOG.....etc etc etc" and helps us to remember we can only do what we can at the moment. God has been so faithful...we just need to press into him and (pardon the pun) "enjoy the journey! Enjoy where we're at...on the way to where we are going"
We officially farewelled our church family yesterday. It was hard thing to do. Harder than clearing out our belongings. I got a lump in my throat a couple of times whilst we were sharing from the front....but hearing Daniel say..."this is all we're taking with us, because this is what we value the most"...as he indicated our family. That was so moving. (More on our testimony later...can't go there today, still feeling a bit emotional)
I promise you'll have photos soon... Sorry been very slack...
tempted to say "It Is What It Is"
Anyway, got to fly...the ferrils/I mean my precious children are circling, lunches need to be made, Breakfast consumed (or trickled everywhere, as is the current habit) and school uniforms need to be found in the mountain of washing....
Love and hugs from this House of Chaos!
